BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
The dates of your booking will be held upon payment of a non-refundable deposit of 30% or payment in full. Any bookings less than 6 weeks (42 days) in advance of your check in date must be paid in full immediately.
On receipt of the deposit, a booking confirmation will be sent to you within 24 hours, containing the details of your stay and of payments made and due. If you have not received your booking confirmation within the specified time, please notify us as soon as possible.
Where a deposit has been paid, full payment will be due 6 weeks (42 days) in advance of your check in date and a reminder will be sent to you, where applicable, by email. If you are unable to pay the balance before the stated due date, you will forfeit your deposit and your booking will be cancelled.
Wild Goose Glamping require booking to made by a capable and responsible person of or over the age of 21 years old. That person agrees to our Terms & Conditions on behalf of all guest staying. Wild Goose Glamping reserves the right, at all times, without statement of reasons, to refuse a booking.
When you submit a booking via our online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you provide in the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by post or email.
Security deposit – All bookings are subjected to a £100 refundable security deposit per lodge.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations by you at any time will result in your deposit being forfeited, as all deposits are non-refundable.
All monies paid for a holiday (deposit and balance) are non-refundable within 6 weeks before the check in date.
Cancellation of any holiday after it has been paid in full and at a date of 6 weeks (42 Days) or more in advance of your check in date, will result in forfeiture of your deposit (or an amount equivalent where one was not paid as the holiday was paid in full) and the balance being returned to you.
However, if we are able to re-let your accommodation within the period of 0-6 weeks before your check in date we will refund you 50% of your payment less the initial deposit.
In the unlikely event that Wild Goose Glamping have to cancel your holiday at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, we shall inform you as soon as possible and a full refund will be given in the unlikely event this should occur
In the case of a Government directed lockdown a voucher would be issued valid for 24 months for the value you had originally paid (if re-booking at a more expensive time of year you would need to pay any difference).
We do advise you to take out holiday insurance to cover you for every eventuality
PRICES
The prices feature on the website are not binding; Wild Goose Glamping reserves the right to modify these prices. At the time of booking you will be informed of the prices applicable. The price stated on the confirmation invoice is binding.
RENTAL OF LODGES
In the rental price of every lodge the following is included: Rental of lodge, bedding and towels, water, electricity, WIFI and use of BBQ/fire pit (where applicable).
VAT is charged according to the guidelines of the VAT-administration.
We provide a basket of logs for the firepit but any additional logs required for the firepit can be purchase from us. Only wood supplied by Wild Goose Glamping is to be used and no other BBQ/fires are to be used. In the event of a hot dry summer the use of the firepits may be restricted.
All lodges have hot running water which is supplied by an immersion hot water cylinder. There is a limited water capacity, so please be aware that the system will need time to refill and heat. In every effort to save energy, please do not let taps run freely. Please note the water can be very hot so please be aware.
Please do not leave any lit candles, lanterns or fires unattended.
ARRIVAL/CHECK-OUT
Our check in time is from 4pm until 9pm on your arrival date and you will retrieve your lodge key from a keysafe box.
The site is a car free area and all guest are requested to park in the car park. Carriages are supplied to transport your luggage to your lodge. Please return these to the storage building when finished.
Full instructions will be included in the confirmation of booking email.
Our check out time is before 11am on your departure date as we need to access the lodge to clean and make ready for next guests arriving later that day.
We ask you leave the lodge in the same clean condition in which you found it. If there is any unreasonable damage caused by negligence or items that go missing we reserve the right to reclaim any monies, using the booking payment debit/credit card information provided at the time of booking.
If you leave your lodge in an improper condition, additional (cleaning) costs can be charged.
Breakages do happen but please advise us immediately when this occurs.
We will inform you in writing of any claim and by booking you agree to this condition.
Please replace the key back in the keysafe before you leave.
Any lost keys will result in a £25 charge.
SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted in our lodges or the decking at any time. If you smoke in the field, please do not throw cigarette ends in the field as the flower meadow can be highly flammable
GROUP BOOKINGS
Wild Goose Glamping reserve the right to refuse group bookings if we feel that this may be of detriment to other guests staying at the site.
We are sorry but unfortunately, we do not accept Hen or Stag parties.
DAY VISITORS
In principle, it is permitted to receive visitors during your stay at Wild Goose Glamping. We limit day visitors to one family per booking during your stay and must vacate the site by 10pm. Visitors are asked to leave their vehicles in the parking area. Visitors are not permitted to bring dogs.
PETS
A well-behaved dog is welcome in Grenadier Lodge only. Dogs are only permitted with prior consent of the Wild Goose Glamping and where pets are permitted there to be kept under control and on leads at all times when not in the lodge. There is a surcharge of £50 for the duration of your stay.
Our small flock of sheep may be in the field from time to time. In addition to ensuring your dogs are controlled at all times please make sure that all gates are closed.
Dogs must not be left in the lodge unsupervised at any time, even for a short period, as this could result in damage and distress to the animal. Please clean up after your dog using bags and kindly place them in the designated bins provided. Please do not allow your dog onto the furniture or beds.
GUEST BEHAVIOUR
We ask that guest keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am while staying at the lodges, in considerations of others.
Our guests have the right to occupy the property for the paid for holiday period only (within the meaning of Schedule 1 Paragraph 9 of the housing Act 1988).
Guests undertake to behave in a proper, appropriate and legal manner with due respect to the owner, the property and other guests and their property.
If any guest behaves inappropriately or improperly, or illegally, the we reserve the right to ask the guest and their party (at our discretion) to leave the property before the end of the holiday period.
Any refund for so doing would be exceptional and at the entire discretion of the Wild Goose Glamping. In addition, we reserve the right to sue the guest for any loss, damage or injury caused to the Owner, the Property or to other guests and/or their property.
BREACH OF BOOKING CONDITIONS
If there is a breach of any of these conditions by the guest or any of their party, we reserve the right to re-enter the lodge and end the holiday and ask the Guest and their party to leave in addition to their other rights specified in these Booking Conditions.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
Any dispute will be governed by the non-exclusive law and jurisdiction of English Courts.
AUTHORITY TO SIGN
The person who books the accommodation certifies that:
- He or she is authorised to agree the Booking conditions on behalf of all persons in their party;
- The signatory must be over eighteen years of age;
- They agree to take responsibility for the party occupying the Property, and to notify the Owners if they are not a member of the holiday party.
LIABILTY
Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits the liability of Wild Goose Glamping: for death or personal injury caused by the Owners negligence. – for any matter which it would be illegal for the Owners to exclude or attempt to exclude their liability.
The use of Hot Tubs (if applicable), fire pit/BBQ, playing in the stream or any other activity on the owner’s land is the responsibility of the Guest and is done so at their own risk.
Assumption of Risks – you will be staying in the countryside and there will be Fencing with barbed wire around the boundaries amongst other hazards. Whilst we take care to keep you safe, accidents can happen and we are not held responsible for such accidents (to the greatest extent permitted by law).
It is your responsibility to supervise any children. Please be aware that there are overhead electricity cables in part of the field so please do not fly kites, drones etc.
If you notice that any equipment looks faulty and/or unsafe you must inform the owner as soon as possible.
Wild Goose Glamping accepts no liability for theft, loss or damage, of whatever nature, during or as a result of a stay at our Glamping site. – the tenant and those who accompany him or her, are jointly and severally responsible for all loss and/or damage which arises, for Wild Goose Glamping and, or any third party as a direct or an indirect consequence of their stay, irrespective of whether this was caused through action or refraining from actions by themselves or by third parties.
All damage which is caused by any animal and/or matter which they have under their responsibility. –
FORCE MAJEURE
Force majeure on the side of Wild Goose Glamping exists if the implementation of the agreement is entirely or partially, temporarily or permanently, prevented due to circumstances which are beyond the control of Wild Goose Glamping including threat of war, staff strikes, blockades, fire, floods, pandemics and other disruption or events. In the event of Force Majeure, no full refunds will be given.
COMPLAINTS
Despite all the care of Wild Goose Glamping it could occur that you have a genuine complaint. You must take up this complaint with the Owner immediately, in order to allow us to solve the matter a soon as possible. Should the complaint not be settled to your satisfaction, then you have the option, up to 14 days after your departure to submit the complaint in writing or by email to info@wildgooseglamping.co.uk
VALIDITY CLAUSE
In the event that a court finds that a condition in these Booking Conditions is illegal or void, the illegal or void provision will be severed from the remainder of the Booking Conditions, which will continue to be valid and have full force and effect.
COMPETITIONS/GIVEAWAYS
If you enter a competition/giveaway and have won, this cannot be exchanged/refunded for any monetary value. The competition dates stand and cannot be amended if you are unable to use the prize.
