OUR LODGES
There are three attractively furnished lodges to choose from, set within two acres.
Each lodge is approached by a few steps, taking you to an elevated, spacious timber deck. Canvas covered and with generous seating, a drinks table, and good lighting, this versatile space becomes an extension to the living area in warm weather and welcome shelter for preparing and returning from the elements when less clement.
A fire pit belonging to each lodge sits in the field ready for your use. You might choose to cook al fresco, or simply to gather and make memories to the sound of spark and crackle, and the flicker of flame. You make your time at Wild Goose Glamping exactly what you want it to be.
Accommodation is accessed by large double doors sided by generous floor to ceiling windows overlooking the orchards. With plentiful big windows throughout, the lodges are fresh, light and airy. The living quarters are open plan. A cosy sitting area comprises comfortable sofa/s, a coffee table, rugs etc. There is a good supply of tea lights and holders for you to set the scene for softly lit evenings, inside and out. Playing cards and a some games are provided.
Each kitchen space comprises oven, hob, fridge/freezer, sink with hot water and is well equipped for holiday cooking and dining. Washing up liquid, tea towels and a few essentials lie ready to smooth your arrival. A large table and chairs make provision for sociable dining and maybe thrashing out a game of scrabble or jenga!
The bathrooms comprise shower, flushing loo and basin with plentiful hot running water and heated towel rail.
Two of the lodges offer two double rooms and a bunk bedroom, therefore sleeping up to six people in each.
The third lodge makes for a particularly luxurious stay for a couple. It offers a very spacious double room. However this room has capacity to accommodate a travel cot and/or a trundle single bed/s if required. In addition there is a separate bunk bedroom. This lodge is therefore also capable of accommodating up to six people, in a different configuration.
Duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are all supplied, and beds are made up and ready for your arrival.
DOGS
We realise that your dog is a valued part of your family, and up to one well behaved dog (A second dog may be allowed with prior consent, please contact us) is most welcome to stay with you in one of our lodges. Out of courtesy to other guests, and respect for stock and wildlife, we ask that dogs are kept on a lead whilst outside. Please ensure that, when necessary, you clean up behind your dog without delay. It is important that dogs are not left alone in lodges or in cars. There is a surcharge for dogs and it is essential that you notify us at the time of booking. Your lodge will be deep cleaned before your arrival to ensure you have a warm welcome.
